I have read an article in one job search website and i want to share the thing that i have learned. the author of that article is focusing on the competition that most applicants are experiencing nowadays, the author suggest 3 things to avoid so that you will be competitive to other applicants:
1) Don’t be pessimestic! think of positive ways and thoughts, avoid negative thinking so that you will not be pulled down because most applicants are thinking ahead of how if they failed? how if they are not accepted for that job? instead of comparing yourself to others or by thinking of negative thoughts think of ways that will help you pass the application process.
2) Don’t be alone! socialized with your friends, relatives, or neighbor so that you can ask them about job hunting and job searching. they may also help you by referring you their company or by helping you to get a job.
3) Don’t ever go to the company if you are not prepared! because you will just waste your time if you are not prepared.

It sounds like an “easier-said-than-done” situation, and it is. To have a sure shot job by the end of the month, you might have to pass 10-20 resumes to different companies of your choice (or sometimes if you are really desperate, companies that is least of your liking). You have to put persuading and impressive contents in your resume to make you look credible enough for a company to let you take an entrance test or an interview (make sure the contents are true/real, don’t make up one or fake it). You have to be the highest or ace the test to get in the cut. You have to be confident when answering interview questions.

It is not always easy to get in to your preferred institution because you have to pass an application form and other requirements, pass their entrance examinations, answer interview questions, and the like. If you got used to text messaging by short-cutting words or using abbreviations, this is not the right time to use it. Don’t use fancy font styles. You should have an unswerving fonts and formats.
